Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Manager to support our store manager in overseeing the daily operations of our retail location. The ideal candidate will assist in managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the store manager in daily tasks and responsibilities.
2. Help recruit, train, and supervise staff members.
3. Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
4. Assist in monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when necessary.
5. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
6. Help develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed goals.
7. Assist in creating employee schedules and managing payroll.
8. Participate in store meetings, training sessions, and other company events.
9. Help enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a related field.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
6. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Knowledge of inventory management and sales techniques.
8. Experience with employee training and development is a plus.
